Access requirements
To view sensor dashboards in the Jolt web app you will need the following permissions:
Sensor admin or location admin user access
Alternatively, content group admin or company admin user access in your personal profile permissions
Multi-location dashboard
The multi-location dashboard provides a high-level overview of sensor information across multiple locations (data is shared based on user and location permissions). You can sort locations by priority of alerts to address the most critical issues first.
The dashboard includes four columns representing different sensor statuses:
Critical status: Indicates an urgent issue. Sensors with this status are not counted in the warning status column.
Warning status: Shows less urgent issues but important to address.
Disconnected status: Appears if a sensor has not sent a recent reading.
Low battery status: Indicates sensors with a low battery level.
If a location has only one sensor in a status, the sensor's name will be displayed instead of the number. Sensors with active alerts but no recent readings display a disconnect icon instead of temperature/humidity.
Clicking on the sensor displays additional details such as when the temperature or humidity was disconnected.
Single location dashboard
The single location dashboard provides a detailed view of sensor data at a single location (designed for users with sensor admin access for only one location or when viewing all sensors for a single location).
You can access a single location dashboard by selecting a location from the multi-location dashboard's location overview or by navigating to the sensor dashboard while in location mode.
The Jolt mobile app supports this version of the dashboard and requires switching locations to view data from other sites.
Needs attention section
This section highlights potential issues that may not have active alerts but still require attention. For example:
Sensors and gateways that haven't had a reading for more than 75 minutes and do not have active alerts.
Newly added sensors or gateways that fail to connect within 2 hours.
Sensors with rapid battery drain warnings.
FAQ
How can I view details about a specific sensor's alert?
Click on the sensor to view its details page. This page will show the temperature or humidity readings at the time the sensor was disconnected, if applicable.
What should I do if a sensor appears in the "needs attention" section?
Investigate the issue as the sensor or gateway might not be functioning properly. Check if it hasn't sent readings recently or if there are connection issues.
Can I access data from multiple locations on the mobile app?
No, the mobile app supports only the single location dashboard. To view data from multiple locations, use the multi-location dashboard on the web app.
