Setting up corrective actions for yes/no Jolt list items

Learn how to set up corrective actions for yes/no list items in the Jolt web app. This feature ensures that issues flagged as "no" are addressed.

Corrective action types

  1. Corrective action with a preset list: Requires users to complete a predefined corrective action list when a "no" response is given.

  2. Planned corrective action: Requires users to create a custom list with specific tasks if a "no" response is selected. This allows for separate tracking and resolution

Corrective action with a preset list

  1. Log in to the Jolt web app and navigate to lists > edit lists.

  2. On the next screen, create a new list or select an existing one.

  3. Configure the yes/no item by going to the corrective action section and select the box turn on corrective action.

  4. Choose an action list to display when the item is marked as "no" and decide if the corrective action is optional or required.

  5. Define additional requirements by choosing from the list of options:

    • Repeat this item

    • Repeat this list

    • Do not repeat

  6. Click save to apply changes.

Planned corrective action

    • Corrective action assigned to: Specify who will be responsible (a person, role, or the user completing the list).

    • Notify roles if overdue: Select roles that should be notified if the corrective action is not completed on time.

  5. Generate the corrective action list by clicking create. This list will include the tasks described in the description and will be assigned to the selected person or role.
