Ensure the lights are illuminated on the gateway and that power is green, Ethernet is amber, and LoRa is red.
Verify that the power cable is securely plugged in and confirm that the network cable is connected to a working port.
Verify your network is connected to the internet and ensure the gateway is plugged into the correct network port.
Confirm that WebSockets ports 80 and 443 are whitelisted on your firewall inbound and outbound to/from *.jolt.com (contact your network administrator or internet provider for assistance).
Restart the gateway by disconnecting it from the power adapter (do not press the reset button).
Wait 10 seconds, then reconnect the power adapter.
Wait 5-10 minutes for the gateway to reconnect to Jolt.
Log in to the Jolt mobile app as a user with sensor admin access. Locate the gateway, select it, then tap the kebab menu in the upper-right corner.
Select deactivate.
Tap the plus sign and select gateway, then follow the instructions on screen.
Wait about 10 minutes to verify the gateway has reconnected.
In the Jolt mobile app, tap on the gateway and verify the gateway shows a recent reading (less than 5 minutes old).
Open and close the app to ensure it is syncing and up-to-date.
When troubleshooting the LoRa gateway, check if the gateway is offline and sensors are activated. If so, put the sensors to sleep as follows:
JRB 004 and JRB 301: Remove the battery.
L01 and LRTD01: Remove the batteries.
DLHT65: Press the ACT button 5 times rapidly until you see a long red light.
