Web App: What is the Daily Checklist?
The Daily Checklist ensures monitoring equipment is functioning properly and that environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity) meet compliance standards. The Daily Checklist is available twice (AM/PM) and provides visibility into real-time task completion, reduces manual efforts, improves efficiency and safety through digital documentation, maintains records for audits and inspections, and prevents issues from escalating.
If you do not see this feature in your account, please contact your CSM directly for assistance.
- Log in to the SmartSense web app, then navigate to the correct location from the hierarchy in the upper left corner. At the top of the screen, you will see DAILY CHECKLIST RESULTS.
- There are two options: AM DAILY CHECKLIST and PM DAILY CHECKLIST. The AM option is available 12:00 am – 12:00 pm (your time zone) while the PM option is available 12:00 pm – 12:00 am (your time zone).
- When the Daily Checklist is available, you will see a COMPLETE button that you can click.
- Clicking on this button will take you to a new page where you can view asset details such as the reading, status, timestamp, etc. Ensure that the assets appear in green before proceeding. Red indicates that there is an issue.
- Think of this as a spot check. It takes less than a minute and will help prevent potential issues.

Red = Needs Attention
- Below the assets, you will see Tasks that need to be acknowledged. If everything is within range, select the checkbox next to each task and then sign. A digital signature (full name or initials) is required to complete the Daily Checklist.
- Click COMPLETE in the bottom right corner to submit changes.
- You will automatically return to the Dashboard, where you will see a COMPLETED status for the Daily Checklist.
Note: If a Daily Checklist is not completed, the card will show NOT COMPLETED. No further action can be taken.
