B Gateway transportation with shrink wrap cabling

This tutorial walks you through how to safely shrink wrap harness on a B Gateway.

1. Cut a piece of shrink wrap long enough to cover the connection between the power harness and the gateway cable.
2. Approximately 6-8 inches.
3. Slide the shrink wrap onto the power harness cable.
4. Connect the power harness to the gateway cable.
5. Position the shrink wrap so that it is centered on the connection between the two cables (ensuring that the connectors are covered completely).
6. Use a torch to carefully heat up the shrink wrap.
7. Move the torch back and forth in smooth, even motions (be sure to heat from all sides).
8. This might take a minute or so for the shrink wrap to heat and constrict over the cables.
9. Once the shrink wrap is fully heated and snug against the cables, put on heat-resistant gloves.
10. Pinch the ends of the shrink wrap to create a closure at either end of the shrink wrap.
11. Your gateway is now ready to be mounted.
