Instructions
Log in to the Jolt web app and navigate to lists > edit lists.
Select an existing list or click the blue plus sign in the top right corner to create a new list.
On the next screen, click +add item on the left to begin.
A modal window will appear. Click the measurement item type.
You will need to complete several required fields:
Prompt text: Enter the description for the item (e.g., tomatoes, freezer 1, cash drawer, etc.)
Unit of measurement: Select an option from the dropdown or add a custom unit.
Ranges (optional): Add a range to use flags or trigger a notification or corrective action. By doing this, you can set a target for the value and trigger different actions depending on whether the value is inside or outside the range.
If there is no min or max on your range, you can leave the box empty.
Available input methods: Control where temperature readings come from by specifying at least one option. Users who complete this list will be required to use the method of entry you configure.
The input method can be overridden and manually entered by a user with device admin permissions on the device.
Manual input: Allows users to enter values manually on the numeric pad.
Temperature probe: Allows users to take temperature measurements with a compatible Bluetooth probe.
Sensor: Record data using Jolt remote temperature sensors.
Configure saved value: (Optional) Enable this option to save frequently used numbers to reduce data entry errors and save time. The app will remember the last value entered on an instance of this list and default the same value into the measurement item on the next list.
Flags (optional): Set flags based on the item’s answer. The flags will display on the Jolt mobile app when a value is entered and can trigger a green, red, yellow, or blue result.
Flags can also be counted by yes/no items to autocomplete depending on flag count on other items.
Corrective action or notification: If a range is set, you can configure corrective actions or notifications for values outside this range.
Once the required fields are completed, click save to apply changes.
