How to recover calibration on a ZT111 printer

Learn how to recover calibration on a ZT111 printer when labels are misaligned or the sensor is not detecting media correctly. It may be necessary to recover the calibration of your ZT111 printer if the labels are not being printed properly.

Common reasons for calibration issues

If you have already tried troubleshooting your ZT111 printer, you may need to check the following before continuing with the next steps:

  1. A dirty printhead

  2. A printer error state such as flashing or blinking lights on the front of the printer

  3. Labels text is being printed over multiple labels

  4. Labels are misaligned

How to recover sensor calibration

  1. In the Jolt web app, go to settings and select printers.

  2. Select the printer you're using. Match the serial number in Jolt with the serial number shown on your printer (last four digits).

  3. Select the printer from the printer menu and you will see the option to recover sensor calibration.

  4. The status, pause, data, supplies, and network lights will turn amber (this means it is going through a soft reset).

  5. Next, you will see the status light turn amber.

Note: This process may take a few moments and a few labels may feed from the printer (this is normal behavior).
