How to manage the T1 Sensor

The T1 Sensor is a slim, credit card-size sensor that integrates seamlessly with the Voyage solution in the SmartSense platform.

SmartSense Voyage provides interactive maps for tracking the geolocation history, which is a multidimensional view, of each Asset and comprehensive temperature data and reporting.

Let’s explore how to manage a T1 Sensor in the SmartSense web app.

Assign and manage a T1 Sensor

To assign a T1 sensor, log in to the SmartSense web app then follow the steps in the link below:

View T1 Sensor maps

There are two areas in the SmartSense Web App where you can view the location of the T1 Sensors:

  1. Assets Tab
The map on the Assets page displays the last reported geographic position for each T1 Sensor. Only sensors assigned to the listed Assets are displayed and only T1 Sensors assigned to an Asset under the selected hierarchy group are displayed on the Assets page.

This interactive map allows you to zoom in/out for better viewing. You can also drag the map to pinpoint a specific location.

Clicking on icons under the icon key allows you to view information about the Sensor including:

    - Asset Name

    - Device ID

    - Signal Type

    - Accuracy

    - Longitude

    - Latitude

    - Heading (GPS signal only)

You can also filter the Icon Key by selecting/deselecting boxes to modify the iconography displayed on the map.

  2. Asset Details Page

The Asset Details page can be accessed in multiple ways:

    - When viewing the assets tab, click on an Asset with a T1 Sensor assigned.
    - When viewing the admin > system management page, click on an Asset with a T1 Sensor assigned.

The default map view displays the last 24 hours. On the asset details page, you can observe the map for geolocation history by selecting a longer timeframe using the dates filter.
