SmartSense Install is available free from the App Store (Apple) and Google Play.
Before beginning, please confirm with your SmartSense representative that all sensors and gateways for your installation have been provisioned to your account so that they will be available to select in SmartSense Install.
It is best to connect any external probes to your sensors and then power on all your sensors and gateways approximately 30 minutes before starting to build your network in the SmartSense Install app. This step will allow your devices to pair and communicate with the SmartSense cloud, ensuring the most complete installation.

Tap on or search for the site you wish to access.
As Assets and Gateways are added to your site, they will appear on the site details page.

Edit a sensor
You can edit a sensor at any time by browsing Assets and then selecting a sensor.
Select the pencil icon to start editing the sensor. From here, you can:
Rename the Sensor by entering a new name and selecting SAVE.
Unassign the sensor so you can use it with a different asset or a different site within your hierarchy.
Unassigning a sensor stops data from reporting to SmartSense (this can be useful if a sensor is damaged or lost).
Unassigning a sensor will automatically close any alarms that were associated with the sensor.
Unassigning does not delete a sensor, allowing you to still view the sensor from the Asset page.
Delete the sensor from your account.
Deleting a sensor removes the sensor from the asset AND deletes all data that was previously reported.
The deleted sensor can be reassigned as if it is a new sensor without any data history.
View sensor details
To view sensor readings and other details such as sensor ID, select the sensor from the Asset Details page.
A sensor with a GREEN icon (online) is communicating to SmartSense as expected
A sensor with a RED icon (offline) indicates that at least one reporting interval has been missed
