See what's new at SmartSense. We're continuing to make improvements to empower you by releasing the following new features:

You can find the new announcements tab under the admin tab in the SmartSense web app. Announcements allows users with Super Administrator and Administrator roles to send custom messages to any employee in their organization's hierarchy. Communications can be configured to send via email or can be displayed in the notification center. This feature is also displayed in the announcements tile on the SmartSense mobile app.

Live display is an asset management feature in the SmartSense web app that provides a "bird's-eye view" detailing asset information of a selected location on the SmartSense web app. It can be launched and viewed for extended periods as it will auto-refresh to ensure data remains current.

The live display link will appear in the upper-right corner of the asset page, and selecting the link will open live display in a new tab.

After logging into the SmartSense web app, navigate to the admin tab > application settings. Here you will find a new tab called general settings. This tab is only accessible to Super Administrator users and is used to control different areas of the SmartSense web app such as the dashboard, incidents, and assets. When you navigate to the general settings tab, you will see the setting name and the description, and the toggle button allows you to enable/disable the setting.
