Work order posts on the Jolt web app

Learn how to filter, make status updates, comment, and assign tracking across locations. Work order posts are conversations within the context of a work order. Leave comments, notify users, and flag/resolve posts from the mobile app and web app.

How to read the icons

You'll see several different icons as you go through the process:

  • Pencil icon appears on a row when a work order doesn't have any posts.

  • A number appears in the column to indicate post and comments count on work order.

  • Red Dot icon appears when a work order has unread posts or comments for the logged in user.

  • Red Flag icon appears when a post on the work order has been flagged.

Posts on a work order

  1. Log in to the Jolt web app and navigate to lists > work orders.

  2. Select a work order type from the list, then locate the posts column (next to work order number column).

  3. Click on the icon in the posts column to open the side sheet.
