What is Live Display?
Live Display is an asset management feature that provides a "bird's-eye view" detailing real-time asset information of a selected location on the Web App. It can be launched and viewed for extended periods as it will auto-refresh to ensure data remains current. The Live Display link will appear in the upper-right corner of the ASSET page at the location level, and selecting the link will open Live Display in a new tab.
The only interaction available on the Live Display screen is hovering over the Asset Name and/or Department to reveal the full name.
- Banner
- Tally Bar
- Alarm Details
The BANNER displays the customer name and site in the right corner and in the middle is a refresh timer set for 15-minute increments that capture the last updated information including the date and time.
The TALLY BAR includes an overall count of the assets in your selected location. The following cards will be displayed:
-
TOTAL ASSETS (displayed in blue): The total number of assets assigned to the location.
-
ALARM REPORTING NORMAL (displayed in green): Assets that are connected to the platform. All sensors are reporting within normal parameters.
-
ASSETS W/ ALARMS (displayed in red): Assets that have open, active alarms.
-
ASSETS NOT CONNECTED (displayed in grey): Assets that are not connected to the platform and/or at least one sensor is not reporting within normal parameters. If one out of 3 sensors is not reporting, then the asset is not reporting normally.
-
ASSETS IN MAINTENANCE MODE (displayed in orange): Assets that are currently in Maintenance Mode.
The ALARM DETAILS provides detailed information about each asset with an open active alarm and includes:
- Asset Name
-
Department
NOTE: For Asset Name and Department, a truncated name may appear depending on the character length. Hover over the Asset or Department name to display the full name. This is the only interaction available in Live Display.
- Alarm Type – Displays an icon and alarm type that has been triggered
-
Current – Displays current sensor reading
NOTE: Alarm types that do not record Current readings and Ranges will be represented with a dash ( - ).
- Range – Captures readings from the time the alarm was triggered to the present time
- Severity – Displays an icon and severity level
- Alarm History – Indicates whether the alarm is above or below the threshold and the length of time displayed the current day, hour, and minute
-
ACK (Acknowledged) – Shows if the alarm is acknowledged. If there is a GREEN checkmark in the column, the alarm has been acknowledged. If there is no icon, the alarm has not been acknowledged.
Live Display can be screen mirrored, projected, or cast to an external display. This technology varies across devices. Please follow the manual of your device for further instructions if you wish to use this feature or work with your IT team to set it up.
