SmartSense Mobile App Responder Guide

Getting Started
- Locate the SmartSense mobile app on your mobile device and tap to open.
- Select LOG IN and enter your credentials, then tap LOG IN.
- If your organization has more than one location, you will need to select a location/department from the SITE SELECTION screen.
Responding to Incidents
- On the SmartSense mobile app home screen, select the INCIDENTS tile to view all incidents.

On this screen, you can view all OPEN INCIDENTS. Use the FILTERS button to customize your view:
- New (default)
- Active
- On Hold
- Closed
- Tap the INCIDENT CARD to manage the incident. This will take you to the SUMMARY, which provides important incident details including the Asset Name, Device/Sensor Name, Location, Duration of the Alarm, and Alarm Threshold that has been violated.

Select the ACKNOWLEDGE button next to the alarm icon.

A modal window will appear. Follow the onscreen instructions and complete all tasks associated with the alarm.

Select submit to acknowledge the alarm. A blue banner will appear at the top of the screen showing ALL ALARMS ACKNOWLEDGED.

Next, select the ALARMS tab. This will display open alarms that triggered the incident.

Tap on the HISTORY tab to display a transcript of all activity from the incident including notifications, descriptions, and status changes.
Viewing Temperatures
- Tap the back button in the top left corner to navigate back to the mobile app home screen, then select the ASSETS & SENSORS tile.

On this screen, you can view the current temperature readings and additional information about the asset or device such as the Device Name and Device ID.
- Selecting an ASSET will take you to a new screen with additional information about the asset including location, current incidents, the sensor ID number, and the history of the asset.
- Selecting a GATEWAY will take you to a new screen with additional information about the gateway such as signal strength, battery level, connectivity, and the time of the last activity.
