How to generate ad hoc list instances in the Jolt mobile app

Creating lists in the the Jolt mobile app is easy, whether you need to handle maintenance requests, employee performance reviews, audits, or other tasks. You can generate lists right from your mobile device.

Generating ad hoc lists from templates

  1. Log in to the Jolt mobile app and enter your 4-digit PIN.

  2. Navigate to the menu and tap lists.

  3. On the next screen, tap the blue plus sign and choose ad hoc.

  4. Select or search for a list template that was set up in the Jolt web app (lists with a per person list schedule will not appear here).

  5. Customize your list by entering a unique name under edit list title.

  6. Set a display time. This determines when the list should be displayed (immediately or at a future time). Optionally, set a due date/time.

  7. Enable notifications to alert management when a list is overdue or completed or a measurement is out-of-range.

  8. Finally, select assign to so a specific user can handle the list.

  9. Click create when your list is finalized. It should appear in the lists tab and be ready to use.


Generating new lists from scratch

  1. Log in to the Jolt mobile app and enter your 4-digit PIN.

  2. Navigate to the menu and tap lists.

  3. On the next screen, tap the blue plus sign and choose ad hoc.

  4. Tap the green plus sign to make a new list.

  5. Select the items you want to include in your list. Tap change type to choose from various list item types.

  6. For each item, enter prompt text that will be displayed for the item.

  7. Tap next once you’ve added all items.

  8. On the next screen, enter a unique name for your list under edit list title.

  9. Set a display time. This determines when the list should be displayed (immediately or at a future time). Optionally, set a due date/time.

  10. Enable notifications to alert management when a list is overdue or completed or a measurement is out-of-range.

  11. Finally, select one of the options under list to be completed by.

    • Anybody allows all users to see the list.

    • Specific person assigns the list to an individual.

    • “Specific roles grants access to users with a specific role.

    • “Only me” restricts access to only yourself.

  12. Tap done to finalize the list. It should appear in the lists tab and be ready to use.
