Voyage Trips allows you to keep track of your moving assets, displaying the origin and final destination as well as any stops along the way. With temperature tracking, auditable trip records, and data syncing to the SmartSense cloud, you'll have everything easily accessible and organized.

How to manage a trip

  1. Log in to the SmartSense web app and click on the voyage tab. Select the trips tab.

  6. The map will update and display the waypoints for the Voyage Trip. The map key contains a set of icons which correspond with the data on the map. The only item that can be toggled on/off is zones.

  7. To change the map view, you can:

    • Zoom in and out using the scroll wheel or the +/- controls

    • Drag to pan the map to any position

    • Enter full-screen mode to expand the map to the full browser window

    • Reset to return the map to its default position and zoom level

    • Click any waypoint icon to open a pop-up with the asset reading data for that position

  8. Below the map, you will see a grid, which is sorted by several different columns. Each column can be sorted in ascending/descending order by clicking on the header. This will also update the display on the map. If you select a row from the grid, this will highlight and update on the map.

How to export trip data

  1. Follow the steps above to run a search. Once the search has generated, you can export the data.

  2. Scroll down to the grid (right below the map) and click on the export button. The download should automatically begin and will save to your downloads folder on your device.

  3. The exported spreadsheet includes all trips and associated data in the query, not just the rows visible to you on the grid.
