What is SmartSense ONE?
SmartSense ONE is an intelligence solution that predicts risk, validates compliance, and operates anywhere, even offline, to power safer, smarter operations across every environment.
Whether you use the SmartSense app or Jolt app, you will find all you need in SmartSense ONE, which combines the powers of both tools’ monitoring, operations, safety, and quality capabilities.
There are seven modules within the solution, and each one has a distinct role.
Learn about the SmartSense ONE modules
What is Monitor?
This module provides end-to-end visibility of assets, alarms, and incidents for stationary and movable assets. Manage and organize assets, sensors, and gateways, monitor connectivity, check battery status, track NIST data and certification, and review audit logs in your real-time dashboard.
Monitor also delivers robust alarming, incident management, and compliance reporting tools, and your data can be exported as a PDF or CSV to support regulatory inspections and quality assurance.
What is Operate?
This module streamlines workflow and task management with digital checklists using reusable templates and role-based assignments. Tasks, service events, and alerts can be triggered automatically and can be completed offline.
Operate also provides visibility into performance and compliance so you can track task completion, identify missed tasks, monitor productivity, and access audit-ready records. You have the option to upload content (e.g., videos, PDFs) into the Information Library to organize and manage your media. Additionally, you can use The Logbook to leave notes, comments, and attachments on specific list items.
What is Guard?
This module promotes food safety through simple, digital tasks that are tracked in your dashboard. Create step-by-step processes for flow of food to track products and guide employees from beginning to end.
Users can capture temperatures using Bluetooth probes that sync with the mobile app to automatically record each step. Reports are generated in your dashboard, and the data can be exported and stored for audits, regulatory reviews, or internal tracking.
What is Assure?
This module ensures digital audits for food safety, operations, brand standards, and facilities are compliant with safety standards. Build reusable audit templates and pull in real-time sensor data to monitor temperatures.
When issues are found, the system automatically creates follow-up tasks, assigns priority levels, and escalates critical findings to management. All records are saved and can be exported for regulatory, quality assurance, and executive reporting. The Leave Behind Report is a configurable feature that flags items for management to review and generate an actionable improvement plan to guide next steps for the designated location.
What is Service?
This module helps teams manage maintenance and repairs from start to finish. Create work orders for equipment or facilities, assign to technicians, and track everything in your mobile or web dashboard. Preventive maintenance can also be scheduled to ensure inspections, servicing, and calibrations occur in a timely manner.
A complete history of each asset, including repairs, costs, vendors, and warranties, is available at any time, allowing you to track performance metrics, monitor technician workload, identify issues, and audit data.
What is Label?
This module makes it easy for you to design, manage, and print food labels. Create branded templates with product details like prep dates, expiration, allergens, and pricing, all of which can be stored in a central library, connecting to Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth, and cloud-connected printers.
You can also track who printed each label to ensure printed labels adhere to FDA guidelines and are available for audits at any time.
What is Schedule?
This module helps you build and manage employee schedules with ease with the help of templates and the system automatically checks for conflicts or gaps before publishing.
Once created, schedules become dynamic when using the Time Clock Feature, allowing employees to swap shifts, clock in and out, request time off, and receive updates directly to their mobile devices. You can monitor all of this activity, export approved hours for payroll, and review built-in reports to identify trends, keeping teams informed and accountable.
