What browsers are compatible with the SmartSense web app?
The SmartSense web app is compatible with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. You can find more details about these supported browsers here.
Where can I find login information?Your username and password will automatically be dispatched to the email address of whoever purchased the device. The email address used at checkout is usually the default login. If you were the purchaser and do not see this email in your inbox or spam folder, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you purchased from a reseller (such as Amazon), you will need to call us at 1-(866)-806-2653 to register and set up a SmartSense account.
Why can't I log in to the SmartSense web app?If you are unable to log in to the SmartSense web app, first make sure you are at the correct site: app.smartsense.co. Make sure you are entering the correct username and password by verifying you are entering the correct characters and that Caps Lock is turned off. If you are still having trouble logging in, select FORGOT PASSWORD? from the login screen.
You will need to enter your username on the next screen and then select EMAIL ME MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION. If the username you entered is correct, an email with instructions to reset your password will send to your email address (the one connected to your SmartSense account) within a few minutes. If you do not find the email in your inbox, check your spam mailbox, then follow the directions in the email.
Why am I not receiving SMS communications?
If you are not receiving SMS communications, verify that the correct mobile number appears in your account by selecting your name in the top right corner of the home screen and clicking MY PROFILE. Check the SMS NUMBER field to see if this is the correct mobile number. If you do not see the correct number, enter the correct number then click SAVE in the bottom right corner.
If you are still having issues, you may need to contact your mobile carrier to confirm that SMS communications are not being marked as spam.
How do I change my preferred unit of measurement?Preferred units of measurement are a personal setting that can be managed individually by each user. To change this setting, select your name in the top right corner of the home screen and click MY PROFILE. On this page, navigate to the PREFERABLE UNIT OF MEASURE field and select either US or METRIC, then click SAVE in the bottom right corner.
Selecting the US option will display temperature measurements in FAHRENHEIT while selecting the Metric option will display temperature measurements in CELSIUS.
How do I access web app guides and tips?From your SmartSense home screen, navigate to the SmartSense icon in the bottom-right corner. This is the RESOURCE CENTER and displays Help Center articles, upcoming events, new release updates, and more.
The Resource Center is updated regularly so make sure to see what's new any time you see an alert.
Where can I find a specific task in the SmartSense web app?From your SmartSense home screen, select DIGITAL LOGBOOK, then click TASK LISTS. From the TASK MANAGEMENT PAGE, select the ALL TASKS TAB.
Here you can browse for your task or you can use the SEARCH BAR by entering a keyword such as the task name or the task list it falls under. Once you locate the task, you can click on it to display additional details.
