Instructions
Log in to the Jolt web app and navigate to labeling > label templates.
Make sure you are on the templates tab and select the template you wish to edit.
Select an area of the template where you would like to add a new item.
Choose an item type under the enter when printed section:
Text item prompts user to enter alphanumeric characters.
FDA net weight prompts user for a weight value in FDA-required format.
Date/time input prompts user to select a date and time.
Number prompts user to enter a numeric value.
Add an input label that instructs users what to enter (e.g., # chicken breasts).
Next, you will need to print the label. Users will be prompted to enter the required information before printing.

Q: What types of data can I prompt users to enter?
Text, weight (FDA format), date/time, or numeric values.
Q: What happens if a user doesn't enter the required information?
The label will not print correctly. Please ensure input labels are clear and informative so users can complete it correctly.
