What is list submission?
List submission is the method used for list completion. There are two options for submitting a list:
Submit after all items are completed
You must complete every required item on the list before you can submit the entire list as complete.
Items marked NA (not applicable) or OOO (out of order) are not required to be completed before submitting the list. These items will automatically be marked as NA or OOO when you submit the list if they are not completed.
Submit individual items as they are completed
This setting allows you to submit each item individually as you complete them. The list can be submitted in parts rather than waiting for the entire list to be finished.
This is the default option when creating a new checklist.
What are bump lists?
The bump lists feature helps you manage how lists appear on your schedule.
With this feature, you can decide whether a new list should replace the old one or be added on top of it. If a list is scheduled to repeat (e.g., daily or weekly tasks), it will stack on top of the old list until completed. This means you’ll have multiple instances of the list until they are all completed.
For checklists, a new checklist will replace the previous one when the schedule updates.
Bump lists are recommended for recurring tasks such as cleaning schedules, food safety checks, closing procedures, or other repetitive tasks.
Troubleshooting list display issues
I have a list with unpublished changes
Make sure you save the changes in your list then click more options. You can publish changes from the edit lists page, and changes can be set to publish overnight or immediately.
The bump lists feature isn't working
Check if the bump lists checkbox is selected for each list and make sure all changes are saved before you leave or refresh the page. Also verify if the list displays automatically at the scheduled times.
How do I manage blackout ranges?
You can do this through the web app under settings > locations. Review each location’s blackout ranges and remove/adjust any active blackout range that shouldn’t be active. Make sure you save changes before leaving the page.
