Log in to the SmartSense web app.

Click the assets tab then select the asset name.

You will now be on the Asset Details screen. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner then select view asset settings from the dropdown menu.

On the next page, select the pencil icon then click + show more.

You will now be able to view the asset information to the left. In the tags field, enter a name for the tag(s) then select enter on your keyboard. If you previously created tags, a dropdown will appear when you click on the field and you can select from this list.

Note: When naming a tag, we recommend choosing something unique. Naming conventions will vary across businesses.

When you are done creating tags, scroll down and click the save button to apply changes.

Navigate to the admin tab and select organization management.

Click on the asset alarms tab then select + new asset alarm to create a new asset alarm.
​

On the "Configure new alarm" page, you will see the tags field, which displays any tags you created under View Asset Settings.

After adding tags to the new alarm and filling out all required fields marked with an asterisk, scroll down and click the save button to apply changes.

Once the asset alarm is configured, you can view the status and manage the alarm on the Asset Details page.
