SmartSense: Site Navigation

Dashboard

The SmartSense dashboard offers you a summary view into important information and tasks such as due checklists, high severity incidents, assets, and their status. 

Navigate to the dashboard tab to get started.

  1. Manage the Region and Site you are viewing with this group/level selection menu
  2. Manage the Region and Site you are viewing using the dropdown menu
  3. List of your due Checklists for the current day are listed here (you may also navigate to future checklists)
  4. Incidents with a severity of High or Highest, and those that need your immediate attention, are listed here
  5. Your Assets and their current status are listed here
  6. Use the Sort by dropdown to sort incidents and assets
  7. Use the View as dropdown to sort incidents and assets


  8. Select your username in the upper right corner to access your profile settings
  9. You may change your First Name and Last Name in the fields provided
  10. You may change your Password in the field provided
  11. The Preferable Unit of Measure dropdown allows you to display temperatures in either Fahrenheit or Celsius
  12. You may change your Email, Sms Number (text message), and Phone Number in the fields provided


Assets

Assets are where you can view and manage your temperature monitoring equipment. Navigate to the assets tab to get started.

  1. Manage the Region and Site you are viewing with this dropdown
  2. Filters can be applied and saved here to help narrow your search when looking for a specific asset or assets
  3. A list of your monitored assets appear here
  4. A list of your assets' names appear here
  5. Location lists the regions and sites your assets reside in
  6. Any Active Alarms associated with you assets appear here
  7. Last Reading lists the latest temperature readings from your assets
  8. Current lists your assets' current temperature readings
  9. 24 Hours lists your assets' highest and lowest recorded temperatures in the last 24 hours


  10. Clicking on an asset will take you to an interactive graph detailing the asset's recorded temperatures
  11. Asset History displays a list of previous incidents that have occurred
  12. Sensor Name refers to the name you've assigned the sensor
  13. The Device ID refers to the unique ID number associated with each sensor
  14. Type describes the type of sensor (B Sensor, Z Sensor, etc.)
  15. Last Calibration displays the date this sensor was last calibrated
  16. Alarms Configured details the alarms configured to the asset


Incidents

The Incidents tab allows you to monitor and resolve system alerts and notifications. Navigate to the incidents tab to get started.

  1. Manage the Region and Site you are viewing with this dropdown
  2. Filters can be applied and saved here to help narrow your search when looking for a specific asset or assets
  3. Select the Sort by dropdown to sort Incidents by Incident ID, Asset Name, or Severity
  4. Incidents with a severity of High or Highest, and those that need your immediate attention, are listed here
  5. Selecting a High Severity Incident allows you to Acknowledge the incident
  6. Assign to a user
  7. Change the status of the incident
  8. View any Corrective Actions that have been taken in response to the incident
  9. Selecting View Incident Details will direct you to a page that contains the incident history, asset information, and an interactive graph (this information is also accessible by selecting any incident from the All Incidents list)


  10. All Incidents, including high severity, are listed here
  11. The Asset name associated with the incident is listed here
  12. The Location associated with the incident is listed here
  13. The Incident number is listed here
  14. Current Alarms list the reason for the triggered incident
  15. The Severity of the incident is listed here (the bars from left to right indicate severities of lowest, low, medium, high, and highest)
  16. The Triggered Time list the time and date the incident was triggered
  17. The incident's current Status is listed here (Active, On Hold, or Closed)
  18. Who the incident is Assigned To is listed here (if no user is listed, the Assign to... link allows you to associate a user to the incident)


Checklists

The Checklists tab allows you to monitor, create, and assign checklists and tasks. Navigate to the checklists tab to get started.

  1. Checklist Management is available through the Admin tab
  2. Manage the Region and Site your are viewing with this dropdown
  3. All of your checklists are listed under the checklists tab
  4. The Name of each checklist is listed here
  5. The Type of checklist is listed here (Audit, Ad Hoc, or Scheduled)
  6. The Frequency with which checklists should be completed are listed here
  7. Start Time lists the time each checklist is able to be started
  8. Time Available lists the duration, in hours and minutes, that the checklist will be available to complete
  9. Select the + icon to create a New Checklist



  10. Individual Tasks that make up a checklist are listed under the Tasks tab
  11. The Name of each task is listed here
  12. The Type of task is listed here (Temperature Taking, Manual Tasks, etc.)
  13. Select the + icon to Create New Task


  14. Corrective actions, taken whenever a temperature is either out of range or for non-temperature actions, are listed in the Corrective Actions tab
  15. The Name of each corrective action is listed here
  16. Groups lists the corrective action (CA) group that this corrective action belongs to (ex. the group standard CA represents standard corrective action responses to a violation)
  17. On Select represents what happens once a corrective action is chosen (Do Nothing, Require Follow Up, Load Task, or Load Checklist)
  18. Select the + icon to Create New Corrective Action


  19. The Data Ranges tab lists the minimum and maximum temperatures an asset should reach
  20. The Name of each data range is listed here
  21. Range lists the minimum and maximum temperatures for each data range
  22. The Tasks each data range applies to is listed here
  23. Select the + icon to Create New Data Range


Reports

The Reports tab allows you to view and generate the standard reports that available to you. Navigate to the reports tab to get started.

  1. You can generate a report by choosing report type
  2. Fill out the fields in the form and select Generate to create a report
  3. Selecting Completed Reports will take you to a list of all previously run reports


  4. All previously run reports appear in the All Reports tab
  5. Filters can help narrow your search when looking for a specific report
  6. The report Name and type appears here
  7. Location lists the site which the report was run for
  8. Generated lists the age of the last report generated
  9. Created By lists the name of the user who generated the report
  10. Next Report lists the date and time when the report is scheduled to run next
  11. Select the down arrow for each report to download (a PDF of your report will be generated to view and save)
