How to View Measurement Mode

Measurement Mode allows you to differentiate a Temperature Task completed with a Bluetooth probe or with a manual entry in the HACCP Report.

Web Application

Under the SmartSense Dashboard, you will find the MEASUREMENT MODE column on the HACCP report.

For each submitted result the following data will display:

• Probe: For Food Item task results captured with a probe
• Manually: For Food Item task results submitted by manual entry
• Unknown: Probe information provided by earlier mobile versions (1.42.0 or earlier)
• A hyphen will be displayed for other Task types (-)
  
  

NOTE 1: The Measurement Mode column will NOT populate for Checklists if TASKS are selected in the Checklist Items section to add a probe task. You must add a FOOD ITEMS task type.

NOTE 2: Measurement Mode will ONLY record the method used to capture the Reading of a Food task on SmartSense Mobile version 1.43.0 or later. Measurement Mode results will display UNKNOWN in the HACCP Report if an older app version is used:

The BLE BLUETOOTH information will be recorded for the following Food Item tasks submitted with SmartSense Mobile app version 1.43.0 or later versions in the following sections:

1. Scheduled Checklists & Quick Actions:
   • Food Item tasks
2. Food Safety:
   • All Tasks
     • Food Items
     • Cooldown/Reheats
     • Timed Holding
