B Gateway Dry Van Installation

Tutorial to walk you through gateway installation in a dry van.

1. Install your gateway under the front of your dry van trailer using at least four screws for security. 
2. The gateway should be installed as high as possible while utilizing a six-foot ladder. 
3. Use as many cable clamps as necessary to secure the wiring to the back of the unit, making sure that the cable is tight and secure. 
4. Thread the power harness cable through the seven-way then pull through.
5. Pull the harness taut and secure it to the trailer with zip ties and screws.
6. Cut the power harness cable so that about six inches remain.
7. Slice open the casing and peel back the casing to reveal the positive and negative wires. 
8. Be sure to cut off the extra casing from the red and black wires. 
9. Twist the ends of the positive and negative wires to make it easier to fit them in the casing for the crimps. 
10. Attach the crimps on the end of the wires.
11. Remove the nut from the blue wire and add the crimp belonging to the red wire on top.
12. Replace the nut.
13. Remove the nut from the white wire and add the current belonging to the black wire.
14. Replace the nut.
15. Carefully place the fuse box inside the space within the seven-way.
16. Replace the entire seven into its compartment.
17. Bolt the seven-way shut and you're done.
