WiFi: Access Developer Mode/Older UI
Developer mode is for advanced users and for those who prefer the UI of older models. This mode is also used to place the device into stand-alone mode, which does not require Insights for alert emails.
- Connect your WiFi device to the computer via the PC port, and type 10.99.99.1 after the LAN LED turns on.
- Navigate to 10.99.99.1 via your web browser.
- Click the developer mode link in the lower right.
- In the pop-up window, type the default login credentials for your device. In the Username field, type admin. In the Password field, enter the password.
*Note: If these credentials do not work, type the username admin, and type your Insights password. If you forget your password you will be required to perform a factory reset.
Tabs are as follows:
Status - Displays the current sensor readings.
Alarm Settings - Allows the sensor thresholds to be set for each sensor and also allows the user to register the device with the optional Insights service
Connection Settings - Allows the wireless and wired network settings to be configured.
Mail Settings - Is used to specify what mail server to use for sending alarm notifications.
SNMP Settings - Is used for configuring Simple Network Management Protocol for integration into enterprise management systems.
Preferences -Is used to set the time zone, degree units (F or C), and admin interface password.
Help - Displays the current software version, and license agreement, and has links to error and debug logs used in troubleshooting. Allows you to update the firmware.
