How to Configure Hours of Operation
Hours of Operation gives you the ability to add and edit hours of operation for locations and departments so users can choose to notify different alarm contacts inside or outside open hours.
Note: Hours of Operation is not enabled in all SmartSense accounts by default. If you would like to use this feature please contact SmartSense Support.
Configuring Hours of Operation

To specify the hours of operation for a location or department, navigate to the ADMIN tab and select ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT.
- Under the HIERARCHY tab, navigate to the location or department and select the ELLIPSIS (three dots) to the far right. This will display a menu where you can select EDIT LOCATION.
Note: You cannot set store hours for an Organization.
- You should now be on the EDIT LOCATION page. Scroll down until you see HOURS OF OPERATION and enable this feature by clicking the TOGGLE BUTTON. Here you can customize store hours by using the dropdowns and selecting the open/close times.

If the store is closed on a specific day, DESELECT the checkbox for that day of the week. Once this action is completed, the day will display as CLOSED.

When you are done modifying the hours of operation, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click SAVE in the bottom right corner.
