Create an Alarm Acknowledgment Checklist
An Alarm Acknowledgement Checklist is a type of ad hoc checklist that can be added to a configured alarm linked to an asset and consists of a preset list of tasks (actions or questions) that must be submitted before a user can acknowledge an alarm.
To create an Alarm Acknowledgment Checklist, log in to SmartSense, hover over the DIGITAL LOGBOOK tab, then select CHECKLISTS from the dropdown menu.
To build your Alarm Acknowledgment Checklist:
Step 1: Build CORRECTIVE ACTIONS (see this article for details)
Step 2: Create a TASK LIST (see this article for details)
Step 3: Associate the Task List with a configured Alarm
- Hover over the ADMIN tab, select ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT, then navigate to the ASSET ALARMS section.
- Locate a configured alarm then hover over the ELLIPSIS (three dots) on the far right and select EDIT ALARM.
- Scroll down to the ALARM ACKNOWLEDGEMENT CHECKLIST section and click on the dropdown. Select the task list you created in Step 2.
- Select SAVE
The Alarm Acknowledgment Checklist should be active and ready to use.
