Digi SafeTemps: Probe is Not Pairing with the App (iOS)

First, ensure that the Temperature probe model is set to Smart

Power on the probe and attempt to take a temperature

If the issue persists:

  1. Through the device settings, unpair the probe from the Bluetooth Settings
  2. Once the probe is unpaired, check the LCD display screen on the probe
  3. If successfully unpaired, the Bluetooth symbol will no longer appear
  4. If the Bluetooth symbol still appears after unpairing, ensure the probe is not paired to another device
  5. If you cannot determine that the probe is paired to another device, reboot the probe by removing the batteries for 60 seconds
  6. The Bluetooth symbol should not appear once powered back on
  7. Verify that your Location Services are turned On

  8. Return to the app, power on the probe, and attempt to take a temperature
  9. The probe should now display a temperature
