Digi SafeTemps: Probe is Not Pairing with the App (Android)

First, ensure that Temperature probe model in the app is set to Smart

Power on the probe and attempt to take a temperature

If the issue persists:

  1. Open your tablet's Settings, and unpair the Probe from the Bluetooth Settings (note that the Android device settings layout may vary by device)
  2. Once the probe is unpaired, check the LCD display screen on the Probe
  3. If the device was successfully unpaired, the Bluetooth symbol will no longer appear
  4. If the Bluetooth symbol still appears after unpairing, ensure the probe is not paired to another device
  5. If you cannot determine if the probe is paired to another device, reboot the probe by removing the batteries for 60 seconds
  6. The Bluetooth symbol should not appear once the probe is powered back on
  7. Verify that all App Permissions are allowed for the Digi ColdChain app
  8. Verify that your Location Services are turned On

  9. Return to the app, power on the probe, and attempt to take a temperature
  10. The probe should now display a temperature
