Digi SmartTemps: How to Mass Hibernate Equipment

The mass hibernation feature is commonly used when you need to hibernate the alerts for your Smart Guard sensors for an extended period of time (ex. when your refrigerator is broken and you're having it replaced). This feature can also be used to hibernate a unit for months or years at a time, by selecting the time frame you want the unit to be hibernated for.

There are 2 methods you can use to hibernate your equipment. To mass hibernate all of your equipment do the following:

  1. Login to the Command Center (for more detailed information on logging in, click here)
  2. Select the site of the equipment you wish to hibernate or select View All to hibernate equipment at all sites
  3. Along the orange ribbon on the left select Manage > Alert Levels
  4. Click the checkbox next to the units you want to hibernate
    • If you want to hibernate everything on the site or all sites (when having View All set) click the top checkbox
  5. Once you've selected your units, click the Configure Warning Levels button at the bottom of the window
  6. The Configure Warnings and Restrictions popup will appear
  7. Click the Hibernation tab
  8. Enter your Hibernation Start and Hibernation End dates
  9. In the Hibernation Reason box, enter a reason for hibernating your units
  10. Click Save Changes and the units you selected will now be hibernated
