Digi SafeTemps: How to Manage Data Ranges

Data ranges are the maximum and minimum temperature values that a piece of equipment is considered to be in “normal” range. If the temperature of the equipment is outside of the accepted range for more than 60 minutes (default), an alert will be triggered so that you can address the problem.

Note: This feature may only be controlled at the top organization dashboard

  1. Log into the SafeTemps dashboard (for more detailed information on logging in, click here)
  2. Click Admin
  3. Select Data Ranges
  4. Current data ranges will be displayed
  5. To edit a data range, select Edit next to an existing data range
  6. Edit the Max Value and Min Value appropriately, and select Update to save changes
  7. To create a new data range, select +Add Data Range
  8. Enter the following information and select Update to save changes
    • Data Range Id: Assign the data range a data range ID to determine in which order the data ranges will appear on the dashboard
    • Description: Name of the data range
    • Range Type: Select temperature, humidity, or other
    • Max and Min Value: Enter the maximum and minimum value for the data range
