Digi SafeTemps: How to Create a User

Add users to your account to allow additional people to view and or manage your account. When adding a user to the top organization level, you may give the user access to your entire organization or select sites. Adding a user at the site level will only allow the user access to the site they were created on. For example, a District Manager may need access to multiple sites and would be created at the top org level, while an on-site manager only needs to view their store and would be created at the site level.

Note: Your login permissions must allow you access to add users to manage this feature

  1. Log into the SafeTemps dashboard (for more detailed information on logging in, click here)
  2. To create a user to view only one site, first select the account icon on your dashboard and select the account that you would like to work with
  3. Select Admin
  4. Select Manage Users

  5. Select +Add User to create a new user
  6. Enter required information under General Settings and select Update to save your changes
    • Username (e-mail): Enter the user's email to use as their username login
    • Password: Enter the password to assign to the user
    • Password Confirm: Enter the password again to confirm
    • First, Middle, Last Name: Enter the users name
      • Middle name is not required
    • Language: Select between English or French
    • Select a User Group: The selected User Group will assign permissions and access to the site for the user
    • Status: You may change the Status of the user at any time
      • Selecting Deactivated will prevent the user from logging in
  7. To create a user to view all or multiple sites with in your account, first open the top org dashboard by clicking on the top org dashboard icon
  8. Select Admin
  9. Select Users

  10. Select +Add User to create a new user
  11. Enter required information under General Settings
    • Username (e-mail): Enter the user's email to use as their username login
    • Password: Enter the password to assign to the user
    • Password Confirm: Enter the password again to confirm
    • First, Middle, Last Name: Enter the users name
      • Middle name is not required
    • Language: Select between English or French
    • Select a User Group: The selected User Group will assign permissions and access to the site for the user
    • Status: You may change the Status of the user at any time
      • Selecting Deactivated will prevent the user from logging in
  12. Select Managed Access to manage the sites that the user can access
  13. Select Update to save your changes
