Digi SafeTemps: Answering Alerts

Navigating to Active Alerts

  1. When an alert notification is received, it can be addressed by signing into the SafeTemps dashboard (for more detailed information on logging in, click here)
  2. On the dashboard, alerts will appear at the top of the screen in the top right corner of the Alerts button, with a number corresponding to the number of active alerts
  3. Clicking this button will navigate to active alerts

Warehouse Alerts

  1. Active alerts will appear in list-form beneath the dashboard. By clicking the alert symbol an Alert Details window will appear, in which alerts can be acknowledged
  2. To view a graph of the temperature data for the alerting sensor, click the green icon on to the right

Transportation Alerts:

  1. Under the Alerts tab, alerts can be filtered by unit, sensor point, or date range
  2. Users may either view active alerts (alerts that have not been acknowledged or corrected), or all past alerts, in Alert History under Report Type
  3. Underneath this view will default to a view of active alerts
  4. By clicking on the ID number, an Alert Details window will appear

Acknowledging Alerts

  1. From this menu, details of the alert may be viewed: alert type, time alert was created, and the duration of the alert
  2. By clicking the Acknowledge button, a user may confirm that the alert has been addressed, and make any applicable notes for other viewers to see
  3. If the conditions that created the alert (high or low temp, etc.) are not manually corrected or self corrected, the alert will send another notification after a period of acknowledgement expiration
  4. This period of time is chosen by the user in the Ack Expires dropdown menu
    • For example: A user acknowledges this alert and sets the Ack Expires for 2 hours
    • However, 2 hours later, this sensor is still reading a temperature that is higher than the set range
    • This will trigger a new notification to be sent for this alert
